Permanent Maintenance Fitter - 9 day fortnight -100k +

We’re looking for a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join a well-established leader based in Newcastle. This role is perfect for someone with a strong mechanical trade background who thrives in a safety-first environment and is keen to work with heavy fixed plant and equipment.

Your Role Will Include:

• Carrying out breakdown repairs and preventative servicing on fixed plant machinery
• Diagnosing faults and overhauling gearboxes, pumps, and other heavy mechanical systems
• Assisting with workshop rebuilds and maintaining plant reliability
• Following strict WHS standards to ensure a safe working environment

What You’ll Need:

• Trade qualification – Certificate III in Mechanical Fitting
• Previous experience with heavy industrial equipment
• Solid knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics (advantageous)
• Forklift and dogging tickets highly regarded
